We place great importance on children and young people having opportunities to take part in a wide range of activities that will help them develop new skills, broaden their experiences and give them opportunities to further develop their talents.
Foster carers encourage and support children and young people play, engage in leisure activities and have fun at home, at school and within the community. We also facilitate various activity groups and events with foster carers, staff and young people throughout the year to encourage involvement and recognise successes.
“Children and young people have taken part in 4 fishing events and 2 forest schools, gaining 10 Sports leader awards, 3 Dynamic Youth Awards and 5 John Muir Trust awards. They had fun, were outdoors and learned ”
